The small fishing village of Beadnell is only one mile away, featuring, Hotels, Pubs, Shops and restuarants. Beadnell is well known for having the only west facing harbour on the east coast of England. The beautiful beaches and history-steeped coastline provides a serene locale for all kinds of relaxation.

Slightly further north is Seahouses, famous fishing village and centre of activity for diving and trips to the Farne Islands. Empty golden beaches, an area of Outstanding natural beauty and sites of special scientific interest create the Northumberland coastline all the way north to Berwick and the Scottish border.

Alnwick Castle and Garden - both only 15 minutes away. The Garden in its final stage of development, and Alnwick Castle, home of Hogwarts school in the Harry Potter films are very popular attractions with both adults and children.

Northumberland National Park - 60 miles of borders and moorland and hills leading to the Cheviots and into the lower borders and Scotland.

The Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh castle, Lindisfarne, with its tidal causeway ancient priory ruins and historic castle, are all visible from the property.

Golf, Diving, Bird watching, water sports, surfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing, horse riding and many many more activites await.
